We regularly conduct outreach in unsafe areas at night, where we caution the children against the danger of vagrancy, begging, drug addiction and prostitution.

We refer children to nearby centers for temporary shelter.

We report the person involved in crime of child prostitution.

We offer legal support.

School Sponsorship

Educational Assistance

Education is a basic human right. We provide educational support to underprivileged children to give them a chance to learn and apply themselves correctly in society, to keep them away from the streets and danger, and to improve their values and morals.

Our sponsorship sends children to public elementary, secondary and tertiary schools. Casework method is applied in order to ensure proper screening for the sponsorship.

College volunteers help us with tutorials and conducting of school and home visitations.

Sports & Recreation

Sports, Activities, and Psycho-Social Intervention

We offer the children different sports activities, training and tournaments, where they can share happy moments with children from other communities.

Sports is not only healthy for the body and the mind. It is also a very efficient prevention against the danger of the street especially drugs.

Small Business Operation Assistance and Livelihood

Business Assistance

Family members, usually our clients’ parents can avail for the business assistance to improve their income. Selected families can borrow a maximum of P5,000.00 per year and have no interest to pay, provided they are serious and hardworking. Group work methodology is utilized for working mothers (parent volunteers).

Medical Assistance

Medical consultations are free. Medicine from Switzerland is distributed to those in need of medication and in some cases, we buy medicines for the children. Dental care is also provided to our children and sometimes to their siblings and parents.

Advocacy

Positive Influence

In coordination with different networks and the chair of the Manila Cluster advocacy committee, we conduct sessions on protection for various social sectors.

Community Outreach

Public Visitation

The community search-in is like a home visitation where we promote awareness to the public. We meet barangay officials of the community to advocate the children’s rights. We help institutions provide activities for the children in the community (CSB, Stella Mariz, LIPI).

Referral and Coordination

Since we have no center to receive children, we refer them to other agencies when temporary shelter is urgent. We coordinate with National Council of Social Development, Dept. of Social Welfare and Development, DCI, ECPAT, National Bureau of Intelligence and other organizations.

Financial Assistance

In emergency cases like burials, provincial trips, accidents or medications we give some financial support to the families of our clients.
