Malou peacefully passed away on August 23, 2023. She lived an extraordinary life stemming from humble beginnings as the daughter of farmers from Bicol. She was able to finish her tertiary education in Manila as a working student in Concordia College & got her degree in Social Work from ASI. Since becoming a Social Worker, Malou dedicated most of her time improving the lives of underprivileged children/families in Manila. She became the heart and soul of Sun For All Children.
Although her flame no longer burns, those that were able to witness her fire will never forget how she illuminated the darkness. Like the sun at the break of dawn, Malou gave hope to those filled with despair.
